We had our inaugural meeting March 2022.

The idea is to keep the meetings relatively informal. We get together to discuss whatever we enjoy writing. We have listened to part of a life story, some poetry and a short monologue that group members had written and looked at how they were structured and might even possibly be improved. You don’t need to be formally versed in literature: our number one aim is to be enthusiastic in using the written word; whether that is prose, poetry or doggerel! We are all keen amateurs helping each other to express our thoughts in words.

Come and join us and extend your vocabulary! Numbers permitting we meet in one of our homes. As an incentive, tea/coffee and biccies are offered. We shall be delighted to welcome you to the group.
