40th Anniversary Celebrations

General
Gill Hawkins presentation
At the July 2026 monthly meeting Gill Hawkins was presented with a gift by our Chairman Garth Perkins for her time and effort in preparing the Annual Quiz for the July General Meetings. She is not retiring as Programme Secretary.
Monthly Meetings
Our regular monthly meetings take place on the 4th Thursday of the month at the Clifton Centre in Ashdene Road, Bicester, OX26 2BH. Please arrive by 2pm for a 2.15 start.
Our next monthly meeting is on Thursday 27 August 2026. Bobbie Darbyshire will give her talk A Beginning, a Muddle and an End
(character, location and plot – how to write a novel).
The last meeting was on Thursday 23 July 2026 when Gill Hawkins presented her annual Fun Quiz.

Photos
2026 Photographic Competition
The subject for the 2026 photo competition is "Architecture, buildings, structures or part thereof".
- Photos must be submitted printed on 6x4 or 7x5 paper.
- The last date for submitting your images is the monthly meeting on 24 September.
- The first viewing at the Clifton centre is on 22 October.
- The second viewing and voting is on .26 November.
- There will be first, second and third prizes which will be awarded at the Christmas Lunch.
