Groups

You can join as many groups as you find time for! If there are other topics not covered, why not start your own group? There is help available to get you going and access the Third Age Trust resources. Most groups meet in members' homes, sometimes weekly, sometimes at other intervals, while others hire public rooms, to hold meetings, give presentations, etc. Groups which need to hire a hall or any other premises make a small charge to members for doing so. Similarly, if there is any element of teaching or instruction involved then a charge may be made which will depend upon the level of expertise being provided

GROUP NEWS

We have a new group Needle Felt. More details.

The World Beliefs group is ceasing.

The new Chess group  is now up and running and is actively seeking new members. The group meets on Thursday mornings between 10am and 12 noon at the Littlebury Hotel, Bicester. Anyone interested should contact the Group Co-ordinator.

The Scrabble B group, which was set up after the Groups Showcase event, is also at the Littlebury Hotel between 2.30pm and 4.30pm on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month and has room for new members. Anyone interested should contact the Group Leader (details in the Bicester u3a programme card) or the Group Co-ordinator.

Our first major event of 2026 The Groups Showcase/Freshers' Fair on January 24 was a major success. Read all about it here.
