40 Years of Bicester u3a

Bicester

Camera Club (2)

Status:Active, open to new members
When: On Thursday mornings
1st and 3rd Thursday of the month

We meet on the first Thursday of the month at 10.30am at the Emmanuel Church café, and on the third Thursday of the month at 10am at various locations. We are either out and about taking photos or indoors reviewing our efforts.

Our aim is to enjoy photography by going out to interesting locations, with help and advice, peer review and some semi formal training. This all helps us expand our knowledge of photography. We all feel that our pictures have improved as a result, and one of our members has achieved first and second place in a photography competition. All are welcome, and current members have a range of cameras from simple compacts through to advanced SLRs.

As we are interested in the process rather than the equipment, we all take good interesting pictures irrespective of the camera. Members have even used mobile phones on occasion with good results.

If you would like to join us, please contact the Group Leader George Edmundson (details in the Bicester u3a programme card), or the Group Co-ordinator.
