Needle Felt

Status:Active, open to new members
When: Monthly 2:00 PM-4:00 PM
Second Thursday of the month, starting Thursday 14 May 2026
Venue: Whitelands Centre

This group is open to all those who wish to take part in the art of needle felting. A maximum of two more spaces are available initially, but a second group may be formed if oversubscribed. Equipment will be provided, so those attending just need to turn up.

Helena, the Group Leader says: “The aim of needle felting is to sculpt 3d objects, often animals and ornaments, or 2d pictures, out of wool fibres using specialised needles. It is a meditative craft that members will develop over time. Group members need no experience as we will learn as we go.”
