We are a group of people who like to try out different 'crafts' and sometimes identify one that we really like and continue within our own time.

It's great to find a new hobby. This is what it is all about, trying different things and finding a new interest that we may not have thought of before.

We make a lot of cards for different occasions, and jewellery using many different methods. We have made numerous bags of different shapes and sizes.

We try various 'paper crafts' which include quilling, stamping, stencilling and folk art painting. Also we have had a go at macramé and, most recently, needle felting.

We decoupaged glass vases with Christmas rice paper and napkins, which was very popular with the group.

We like having a doodle/zentangle day in our own art journal books, filling in an outline design with patterns. A few members have become. hooked on this!!

Members keep coming up with lots of unusual and new ideas to keep us interested and promoting help within the group which is very much appreciated. We are such a clever 'crafty' lot at Bicester U3A.

New Members are always welcome. If you need more information, please contact Debbie (details in the Bicester u3a programme card), or via the Group Co-ordinator.
