Come and Sing - Christmas
Please CLICK HERE: https://forms.gle/
There is no limit on numbers but please respond early to give the event organiser an idea of catering numbers.
Run by: Anthony Lock
To be held: Monday 21st December 2026
Who can take part? This event is open to all Bicester u3a members.
The Event Organiser says: “To finish off our 40th Anniversary year in a joyful way we will be running a ‘Come and Sing’ gathering at St Edburg’s Church. I will conduct the assembled company in a selection of Christmas Carols. There will be a break for mince pies, mulled wine or tea/coffee and general conversation before a second session of singing incorporating well known Christmas songs including Jingle Bells, White Christmas and The Twelve Days of Christmas.
You do not need to be able to sing - just come along and join in as best you can. The words will be on a screen for you to follow”.
Further details will be issued nearer the time.
Number of places available: There is no limit on numbers but please sign up as soon as possible, so that we have an idea of how much catering to provide.
Will the members need any specific instruments or clothing? The only prerequisite is that you need to wear a Christmas Jumper or similar seasonal garment to gain entry. No instruments are necessary but if you have sleigh bells or other suitable instruments then please bring them along.
Is there any charge for this event? As this is a 40th Anniversary event there will be no charge. However, there will be a raffle for a mega Christmas hamper, so please bring a few pound coins with you.
Where will the event be held and on which day and at what time? At St Edburgs Church, Bicester on Monday 21st December 2026 at 2pm.
